The Mixing Building consisted in the expansion of Continental Mabor's tire industry facilities, with the construction of a new building with a plan area of 5,960 m2 that is developed on four floors (one of them below ground). It is a building characterized by a monolithic frame with continuous connections and without expansion joints, with three-dimensional portal frames, steel structure for adjacent pavilions and steel clad facades. The contract also included the installation of some electrical and mechanical equipment. All floors have industrial finishing with high strength natural hardener and in the compartmenting of the interior some 6,500 m2 of masonry was carried out. Further, 48,000 m2 of interior / exterior painting on walls and ceilings was also included in this contract.
