The Alto Minho I wind farm is comprised of 5 sub-wind farms located in 4 municipalities of the upper Minho region. Picoto – S. Silvestre sub-wind farm, with an output capacity of 56.4 MW is situated in the municipalities of Valença and Paredes de Coura. Mendoiro - Bustavade sub-wind farm, with an output capacity of 52 MW is situated in the municipality of Monção. Santo António sub-wind farm, with an output capacity of 32 MW is situated in the municipalities of Monção and Melgaço. Alto do Corisco sub-wind farm, with an output capacity of 70.6 MW is situated in the municipality of Melgaço. Picos sub-wind farm, with an output capacity of 52 MW is situated in the municipality of Melgaço.
