The contract included the elaboration of the final design of the expansion of the Mechanical and Biological Treatment of Solid Waste Unit; supply and assembly of mechanical, electromechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment and execution of civil construction works for the following units: Mechanical treatment unit (MT) with capacity to receive and treat 50 thousand tons of solid waste annually; Anaerobic degradation unit with a capacity for biological recovery of 20 thousand tons of separated biodegradable waste per year in the Mechanical Treatment unit; Unit for recovery of sludge produced in the Anaerobic Degradation unit; Biogas energy recovery unit.
